Tang Contemporary Art
An empty bed stands in the gallery. Ruffled bed linen and pillows suggest the shape of a human body, as if a person had just gotten up and left. The space on the bed where this body used to occupy is still warm to the touch. A mirror stands to one side of the bed, reflecting the act of looking back to the audience member.
In this quiet installation, absence informs presence.
