Three-channel video installation and embroidery on silkscreen

The three skylights in the Sackler Center each show a video projection of embroidered Chinese word/words coming in and out of focus. The words YOU (singular), ME, and YOU (plural) are in constant and unsynchronized flux, paralleling the negotiation of the relationships between self and others, and the difficulty to obtain clear focus and maintain balance. 

The embroidered words in the video are displayed in the museum cafe's round wall-windows on the south side of the building. The delicate silk fabric is semi-transparent and filters light through.
