Chosen was a group exhibition that examined various ways of thinking about drawing. The exhibition was the first time that Ma publicly shared her drawings, originally created as sketches for installation-based works, but presented here to inform the viewer about the creative process.

 

By presenting these works in a different light, they went from just being an aspect of the artistic process to being an important part of the artwork itself.
