During the summer Olympic of 2008, Monkey King Sun Wukong rides on a cloud overlooking Tiananmen Square and toward the Olympic Green.
 

The New Adventures of Havoc in Heaven I is a contemporary reinterpretation of the famous story in which Monkey King wreaks havoc at a celestial party in heavenly palace. Shown during the Beijing Olympic Games, which had been called China's "coming-out party" and "party of the century," it was a perfect occasion for Sun Wukong to weld his golden staff once again.
